Sometimes, we share your information with others:
With Other Users:
With Our Service Partners: We work with third-party companies that help us run Groom (like payment processors such as Klarna, cloud hosting, data analysis, and customer support). They only get the information they need to do their job.
For Legal Reasons: We may share your information if legally required (e.g., by court order) or if we believe it's necessary to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
Business Changes: If Groom is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information might be part of that transfer.
With Your Permission: We might share your information in other ways if you specifically agree to it.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no online transmission or storage method is ever 100% secure. Our Services are not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we find out we have, we'll take steps to remove that information.
We might update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll let you know about any big changes by posting the new policy here and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. Please check back regularly.

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds related to services booked through the Groom platform.
Provider-Defined Cancellation Terms:
Each provider on Groom sets their own specific cancellation policy, including the timeframe for penalty-free cancellations and any associated late cancellation or no-show fees.
Clients are responsible for reviewing the individual provider's cancellation policy at the time of booking. This policy will be clearly displayed on the provider's profile and during the booking confirmation process.
Standard Cancellation:
Clients must cancel a booking within the timeframe specified by the individual provider to avoid incurring any penalty.
To cancel, clients must use the cancellation feature within the Groom App.
Late Cancellation & No-Show:
If a client cancels outside the provider's specified penalty-free window, or fails to show up for a scheduled appointment ("no-show"), a cancellation fee or the full service cost (as defined by the provider) may be charged. This fee compensates the provider for lost time and potential income.
The cancellation fee will be deducted from any pre-paid amount (e.g., deposit) or charged directly to the client's payment method on file.
Groom reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly no-show for appointments, in accordance with our Community Guidelines.
Provider Cancellation:
If a provider needs to cancel an appointment, they must do so as soon as possible via the Groom App or by contacting the client directly.
In the event of a provider cancellation, the client will receive a full refund of any amounts paid for that service.
Repeated cancellations by a provider may impact their rating and visibility on the platform, and may lead to account suspension or termination, as per the Provider Agreement.
Service Dissatisfaction (Client):
Clients who are dissatisfied with a service received must first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the provider.
If a resolution cannot be reached, clients must submit a formal complaint through the Groom App within 24 hours of the service completion.
Groom will review the complaint on a case-by-case basis. Refunds or partial refunds will be issued at Groom's sole discretion, potentially after investigation and discussion with both parties.
Evidence, such as photos or detailed descriptions of the issue, may be required.
Payment Errors:
In cases of billing errors or duplicate charges, clients should contact Groom Support immediately. Valid errors will be fully refunded.
Refund Processing:
Refunds, when approved, will be processed back to the original payment method used for the booking within 5-10 business days. The actual time for the refund to appear on your statement may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Any deposits paid by clients are typically non-refundable in cases of client late cancellation or no-show, as defined by the individual provider's cancellation policy, as they are intended to secure the provider's time.
Deposits will be fully refunded if the provider cancels the appointment.
Deposits are applied towards the final service cost.
